About B O U N D E X
My key themes are tight bondage in tight gear, the tighter better :
very tight ropes and tight clothing like a second skin !
I also always has be "obsessed" by the bound bulges, very fetishist on the ultra tight denim, or the black shiny leather/rubber, or also especially with the lycra/spandex too.
Probably the ROPES are also very important for me, I prefer usually them at the straps or other bonds.
Also even I could enjoy time to time the bondage hoods (especially skintight rubber hoods), I prefer to see the tightly gagged face of the bondage victims, love the very strict gagging, the helpless look in the eyes.
The element of tightness and stretching is key for me in my art.
In my life, in my childhood, I played tie up games. Then the art come first for me before my real life content.
When I started to draw my first bondage scenes, it was no really gay bondage artist. I got access only on these pre-time web era at some magazines showing straight bondage with bound women unfortunatly. I was dreaming to get bound or tie guys up like the artists JOHN WILLIE, BISHOP, and ERIC STANTON did on women. It was not possible to find bondage art with bound guys.
So I had to create my own art with BOUNDEX : Guys, dudes, lads in distress, bound and gagged helplessly and very strictly in super tight gear/clothes !
I’m not a trained artist, just an enthusiastic amateur, creating with pencils and with sometimes a little digital finish. Longtime I was a fan of guys in bondage (on TV shows, movies, litterature, comics books). I have always been interested in artwork that depicts that subject.
I was also inspired by Tom of Finland (for the skintight leather and jeans fetish) and love the art of the artists such JoeT * , Leo Ravenswood *, Tacitus * and Mitchell *.
* More infos on these male bdsm artists on the page other artists & links on my website.
(I do love the JOE T art very much. We exchanged some e-mails and bondage art in the past, but I never met him and it seems difficult to find his art these days on the web and difficult to contact him unfortunatly.)
JoeT done this drawing just for me when we exchanged bondage drawings, such a priceless gift: Thank you the artist !

Mitchell about BOUNDEX
The Art of Boundex typically shows images of men, often skinhead types, who have been tightly tied up, gagged and suspended.
Sometimes they are depicted in skinhead clothing - Adidas tee shirts and jeans - but often they are clad in tight fitting lycra or shiny rubber suits which are depicted in a sensual way and create a strange effect of nakedness and vulnerability whilst clothed. These male bondage situations are bought to life by little side comments or exclamations muffled through gags conjuring up fantasies of revenge, abduction and punishment very much in the 'mitchmen' style.
Boundex's style of drawing is very simple and often all that can be seen of the faces is wild, fearful eyes but the overall effect is strangely erotic - particularly when paddles hover over the shiny rubber clad buttocks of the helpless captive men.

About BOUNDEX by RUBBEREX :
Boundex is another favourite of mine from back in the tumblr days (rip tumblr) inspiring both my art and my bondage fantasies. The trouble with some of these artists I’ve looked at, has been the saddening lack of information available about them. Luckily I was able to Nancy Drew the identity of Boundex and was very fortunate to able to chat to him.
His work has always reminded me of Leo Ravenswood, and as Boundex said, this is probably down to the fact that both artists took a lot of their inspiration from female bondage illustrators (Stanton, Bishop, Willie),as those illustrations were more easily available in a pre-internet era.
Everything about Boundex’s work is tight: the rubber/spandex clad bodies bulging in their ambitious bondage, stretched out limbs or compact forms, and quite a few instances of an inflatable gag pumped to the max. Boundex often incorporates the element of recording/filming in his art, maybe for humiliation purposes, or an auction perhaps?
It was lovely being able to talk to one of my icons, and I do hope he sees himself in this drawing. I also of course hope you enjoy it too.
